On 18 September, new Ambassador of United Kingdom to Serbia H.E. Sian Christina Macleod paid a courtesy call to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic.

Dacic expressed the hope that during her tenure, bilateral relations between Serbia and the United Kingdom will be further enhanced.

The UK Ambassador to Serbia stressed that the two countries have historic ties and that her mission during the mandate is to build even stronger bilateral relations.

It has been jointly estimated that the focus of the UK-Serbia cooperation could be put on the economy in the coming period, with a tendency to intensify high-level and top-level mutual visits.
