On the occasion of Serbia’s Statehood Day, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nikola Selakovic, as an envoy of the President of the Republic, today led the state ceremony of laying wreaths at the Monument to the Unknown Hero at Avala.

The Statehood Day is being marked today by laying wreaths and paying tributes in several locations. This morning the Statehood Day Academy was held in Kragujevac, which was attended by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, while the central ceremony marking the Statehood Day was held during the day near the monument to Karadjordje in Orasac.
