Serbia and South Korea signed a Protocol on Cooperation, which was assessed as a new step in the development of relations between the two countries, the government announced.

During his address at the “Serbia-Korea Round Table”, Minister of Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović, who signed the Protocol together with the special envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea, Songmin Jang, pointed out that after the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement with Korea, the exchange of goods between the two countries could to be more than one billion dollars per year.

“Today, we signed the Protocol on Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Korea and discussed the strengthening of comprehensive bilateral, multilateral and economic relations, as well as issues of importance and interest for both sides. Special Envoy Jang also handed me a letter from the President of the Republic of Korea, Yun Suk-yeol in which my respected colleague expressed the hope that this visit will give a new impetus to our cooperation”, wrote the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić on the Instagram account “buducnosrbijeav”.
