Sberbank also won in the category “Best in Social Media Marketing & Services”, which recognizes the work of banks with the most innovative and effective digital communications projects.
In addition, Sberbank topped the category “Best SMS/Text Banking” for the fourth time. This category focuses on the functionality and convenience of SMS banking services.
Global Finance considered factors ranging from objective to subjective criteria. Objective criteria included: strength in attracting and servicing digital customers, the growth of digital customers, breadth of product offerings, as well as the development of new areas of business and innovative services. Subjective criteria included the opinions of analysts, banking consultants and others involved in the international banking industry.
Winners of the awards were chosen in more than 150 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, North America and Western Europe.
Earlier this month, Global Finance magazine named Sberbank’s digital corporate banking solution the best in Russia.
Also, Sberbank came first in three other corporate client categories in Central and Eastern Europe: Best Online Portal Services, Best Integrated Corporate Bank Site, and Most Innovative Digital Bank.
