Public call for the construction of the Morava Corridor

Highway in Serbia, Morava Corridor

“Serbia wants the best companies to build Morava Corridor, one of the most important projects for us as it connects central Serbia, 500,000 citizens and two corridors,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, prof. Zorana Mihajlovic upon her visit to Apatin.

When she was asked to comment on the public call for the selection of a strategic partner for the construction of Morava Corridor, the 112 kilometres highway from Pojate to Preljina, she said that Serbian Government had passed a special law for its construction and that a Working Group was formed that adopted the criteria that are public.

“We want the best to build this corridor, as we want the best financial companies to be behind these companies. I hope that we will soon choose companies and start building a highway that will connect half a million citizens of Sumadija region living in Cacak, Kraljevo, Vrnjacka Banja, Trstenik, Krusevac, Cicevac,” she said.
