President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic welcomed in front of the Palace of Serbia President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, whose visit takes places in the year marking the jubilee of 25 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which have recorded a strong development of economic relations over the last years
After the welcome, which included the line-up of the Guard of the Armed Forces of Serbia, the playing of anthems of the two countries and the firing of cannons in the honour of arrival of the President of Belarus, the two presidents will hold talks, followed by a plenary meeting of the delegations of Serbia and Belarus.
After the plenary meeting, the ceremony of exchanging six signed bilateral documents and the address of the Presidents of Serbia and Belarus to the media will take place.
The delegations of Belarus also includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Minister of Justice Oleg Slizhevsky.
A business forum, organised by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Belarus Commerce of Industry and Trade, will also be held at the Palace of Serbia today.
Lukashenko arrived in Belgrade yesterday afternoon, where he was welcomed by the Serbian President at Nikola Tesla Airport.
Yesterday Vucic and Lukashenko laid wreaths at the Memorial Cemetery to the Liberators of Belgrade and at the Monument to the Red Army Soldier.
