Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and General Commissioner of Serbia at Expo 2020 Dubai Tatjana Matic opened today a presentation centre of the Serbia Pavilion at “Galerija Belgrade” shopping mall.

The Serbia Pavilion was also presented by Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister for Creative Industries and Tourism and Deputy General Commissioner for Expo 2020 Dubai Ana Ilic.

Starting from today, visitors will have an opportunity to walk through and see the Serbia Pavilion, which will be presented at the upcoming Expo in Dubai. With the help of state-of-the-art VR technology, visitors will be able to visit live and follow the developments in the Pavilion in virtual reality.

The Serbia Pavilion has been designed as a sort of time capsule, with a sloping roof modelled after the Vinca culture buildings, it connects the heritage of the 7,000 years old Vinca culture with the digitally advanced, modern Serbia, which represents the central motive of our participation in the upcoming world expo.

The latest technology will recreate and introduce visitors to the 7,000-year-old revolutionary and innovative Vinca culture, and to outstanding Serbian people who indebted humanity such as Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, Milutin Milankovic.
