Prime Minister Ana Brnabic welcomed last night at the Nikola Tesla Airport another plane with medical assistance and equipment for Serbia in the fight against coronavirus.
PM Ana Brnabic said on the occasion that a message of solidarity and community is being sent tonight because medical equipment and assistance had been shipped from China, the cost of transport was borne by the EU, while UNDP Serbia assisted the organisation.
Ambassador of China to Serbia H.E. Chen Bo, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia H.E. Sem Fabrizi, UNDP Permanent Representative to Serbia Francine Pickup and HBIS representative were also present.
The aircraft brought medical equipment, clinical and transport ventilators, protective equipment, masks as well as tests for COVID-19.
Part of the equipment was purchased by Serbia, and part was donated by China and Chinese private companies.
