After years of successful organisation of the journalism competition, the next round of the Siemens CEE Press Award begins.

This year Siemens awards the best journalistic work on the topic “The Future of Cities, Industry and Energy”.

The competition will be held in 11 countries of central and southeastern Europe – Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Austria, and Israel.

Through the competition, Siemens aims to encourage and reward media coverage of key issues of modern society, while all participants were given the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from countries in the region. In the competition, I can all media representatives who have been publishing works on the topic “The Future of Cities, Industry and energy “delivery by March 31, 2019. For all new text articles from print and online media, the reportage agency journalists, as well as television and radio annexes published in the period from August 15, 2018, to March 31, 2019.

The papers submitted must be on the topic “The Future of Cities, Industry and Energy” at the national or international level context and content are in accordance with the appropriate format.

“It makes us very proud that the Siemens Press Award launched in Serbia in 2010 continues to live in the region. For the fourth year now, the winners of the competition for journalists, who promote topics that are important for improving the quality of life by introducing state-of-the-art technologies. I hope that this year’s topic inspires the media to apply and share their works with us. Siemens, as a technological one leader, is active in all areas with special emphasis on digitisation, automation and electrification, and we are convinced that the technological changes that are taking place today will affect the direction of cities, industry and energy,” said Jovana Vukotić, Head of Corporate Communications Department of Siemens for the Adriatic region.
