As confirmed for us at the Directorate of Civil Aviation, Israir Airlines has received all of the necessary permits to carry out flights between Tel Aviv and Belgrade.

Plans envisage a total of seven flights of this company starting from 30th September to 29th October. The flights will run every second Friday and every second Monday, which indicates that this relates to special charter flights for specific groups of tourists.

The flights will be made by Israir’s Airbus A320 planes, capable of carrying 174 passengers.

Another Israeli airline is also waiting to receive permission from the Serbian Directorate for Civil Aviation for a series of charter flights between Tel Aviv and Belgrade.

The airline in question is Arkia, which plans to operate along this route from 23rd October until year’s end. The airline plans to use the Embraer 190 aircraft, with a capacity of 110 passengers. The Serbian Directorate confirmed to us that it has yet to issue the necessary permits.
