Marking two and a half decades of successful business, Nelt invested 15 million euros this year in the regional expansion of integrated logistics services.

One of the most successful domestic business systems today employs 4,000 people in 11 companies, in as many markets in South-East Europe as Africa. As a leader in the provision of state-of-the-art distribution and logistics services, Nelt will generate a consolidated net income of 930 million euros in 2018.

In the year that marks a significant jubilee, the transformation of the management structure of Nelt Group has been made, and business has expanded into new markets. Nelt Group recently launched business operations in the Albanian market, the acquisition of All Balkan Corporation from Tirana. Further plans on the Albanian market are focused on the development of consumer goods and pharmaceutical products, as well as entry into the catering sector. Nelt also made two new strategic partners this year, starting with Nectar and Nestle. Also, in the markets of the Western Balkans, the distribution of the brand Nutrino, the product of the Baby Food Factory – “Baby Fud Fectors”, opened last month in Dobanovci, is a partnership Greenfield investment worth 34 million euros.

“The leadership position and the success we have been achieving for 25 years is the result of our constant investment in the improvement of services, the application of new technologies, and investment in education and employee development. Following the principles of ethical, responsible and sustainable business, we plan to expand into new markets and further organic growth. In addition, we are also focusing on local community education projects, which is why we are recognised as an important member of the wider community, “said Miloš Jelić, General Manager of Nelt Group.

Nelt continues the practice of reporting on sustainable business following the internationally recognised GRI methodology. The Second Sustainable Business Report “Healthy Organization” has been extended to all Nelt Group companies in the Western Balkans, and presents data from 2016 and 2017.

In the new era, the company entered with a new visual identity and a new CSR strategy, which will focus more on employee engagement, and joint projects with business partners of broader social impact. Also, the company offered benefits to its employees, such as: caring for mothers, company physicians or private health insurance, one-time financial assistance for family expansion, and compensation packages that stimulate employees for dedication and efficiency and to be adequately rewarded.

Thanks to outstanding business results, Nelt is also listed this year in the list of 100 most successful companies in Southeast Europe.
