Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, the owner of Twitter and the Tesla company, called on Americans to support the Republican candidates for the US Congress in the midterm elections.

“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” Musk shared on his Twitter account.

Musk has previously indicated he supports moderate politicians from both parties.
