Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlović signed the Agreement on the non-monetary contribution of the Republic of Serbia to the company “Airports of Serbia” to increase the company’s core capital, so that our country, after Niš and Belgrade, gets the third international airport located 15 km from Kraljevo – Morava Airport.

By signing a contract with which the state-owned company “Airports of Serbia” property worth RSD 1.18 billion is transferred, including the airport building and platform.

The Serbian government will invest additional €8.5 million in this airport for the runway, to equip the airport, train and hire around 50 people and other expenses necessary for the operation of the airport.

The Morava Airport will be ready for acceptance of passengers and goods from 28 June 2019, and the completion of the certification process for international air transport is also planned.
