The swearing in of Gustavo Petro as Colombia’s president was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, as a special envoy of the President of Serbia.
In Bogota, Minister Selaković conveyed President Vučić’s personal congratulations to the new Colombian president, and Petro, as the minister stated, expressed his desire to meet Serbia’s president in a very near future.
Selaković also recalled the very good conversation he had with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Alvaro Leyva Duran.
The head of Serbian diplomacy also pointed out that Colombia is the fourth most powerful Latin American country, both in terms of population and economic parameters, adding that it is a country with which Serbia can develop numerous potentials for comprehensive cooperation.
