Speaking at the EU Meet the Balkans forum in Sofia, EU representative for Dialogue between Belgrade and Priština Miroslav Lajčak said that there is momentum for the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU, and that the region should use it without delay.

Lajčak wrote on Twitter that on a panel with Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council Majlinda Bregu, he had pointed out that the region should make use of the opportunity.

“I came to Sofia to participate in the EU Meet the Balkans forum. In my panel with Secretary General Majlinda Bregu of the Regional Cooperation Council, I stressed that we now have momentum for the Western Balkans’ EU integration. The region should use it without delay”, wrote Lajčak.
