Japan Tobacco International in Serbia has been officially awarded Top Employers Europe and Top Employer Serbia certificates for 2017 by the Top Employers Institute headquartered in the Netherlands.

Because of its exceptional employee offerings, JTI in Serbia is among the top employers for the second year in the row.

The annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices.

Crucial to the Top Employers Certification is completing a stringent research process, and meeting the required standard in order to achieve Certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified JTI’s outstanding employee conditions and earned them a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.

Didier Ellena, Vice President and General Manager JTI Adriatica said: “We are proud that our employment practices have been recognized once again by a world-class certificate. I strongly believe that the recipe to become the top employer starts with top employees; our highly talented and committed people are making JTI such a great place to work”.

David Plink, CEO at the Top Employers Institute said: “Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. Our comprehensive research concluded that JTI Serbia provides an outstanding employment environment, and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programmes that are well thought out, and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”
