The Japan Foundation and the Embassy of Japan in Serbia invite all interested institutions, organisations and individuals in the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro to apply for the Japan Foundation grants in the field of cultural, artistic and intellectual exchange for the period from April 1, 2019, to 31 March 2020.

All interested parties should pay attention to the duration of the competition for which they decide, as the application deadline is not the same for all programs.

It is necessary to carefully study the manual: Japan Foundation Program Guidelines 2019-2020.

Filled applications should be sent to the Embassy of Japan in Serbia not later than one week before the official end of the competition, to the following address:

After submitting the documentation, you should call the Japanese Embassy’s Department of Culture to receive the confirmation. Please note that each contest has a deadline for submitting documentation.
