Ambassador of Japan to Serbia H.E. Junichi Maruyama attended the ceremonial handover of the donation from the Government of Japan to Clinical Centre of Serbia.
The Government of Japan donation provided € 81,850 for the Clinical Centre of Serbia’s Project for the Provision of Medical Equipment to the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Belgrade.
Ambassador Maruyama handed the donation to Director of the Clinical Center of Serbia, prof. Dr Milika Ašanin.
Including this donation, the total amount of Japanese assistance through projects for the basic needs of the population (POPOS) in Serbia since 1999 reached 14 million euros. The total amount of Japanese aid to Serbia during the same period exceeds 508 million euros.
