The Hemofarm Foundation’s campaign “The Most Important Call in Life” was proclaimed the best non-profit, socially useful campaign in 2017 at a competition organised for the first time in Serbia by the Brodoto agency.

Among 30 projects from Serbia, the jury decided that this campaign promotes life in the best way and affects the society’s awareness on an important topic – the need to increase the number of donors and the number of organ transplants in Serbia.

The awards were presented at the “Impact 2018” conference organised in Zagreb with the aim of gathering all actors that create positive changes in society – civil sector, private companies, investors, foundations and social enterprises.

The jury consisted of Ivana Todorović (Societe Generale), Ivan Bildi (Likes & Cookies), Nataša Petrović (Balkan Trust for Democracy), Petar Živković (HBO Adria), Ismar Gluhalić (Webtise) and Miloš Janković (Catalyst Balkans).

The campaign “The Most Important Call in Life” has now been carried out for the third year in partnership with the Serbian Ministry of Health.

Thanks to the efforts of the Foundation and of health institutions, civil society, media, celebrities and citizens, the number of donors in Serbia has been doubled – in 2016 there were two donors per million inhabitants, and in 2017 this number was increased to 4.2 donors per million inhabitants.
