Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with President of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce Frank Aletter about future economic activities aimed at improving and developing bilateral economic relations between the two countries.

Brnabic pointed out that Germany is one of the most important economic partners of Serbia and one of the largest investors in the Serbian economy and added that our key interest is to further increase German investments in infrastructure projects and strengthen cooperation in the energy, education and IT sectors.

Aletter assessed that due to the favourable business climate in Serbia, more and more German companies want to invest in Serbia, which opens opportunities for further strengthening of cooperation in numerous areas.

He especially underlined the importance that German companies attach to environmental issues, at the same time expressing satisfaction with the announced measures of the government as this will open additional opportunities for mutual cooperation.

The importance of the development of dual education, which is applied in Serbia, was also discussed at the meeting, and the interlocutors assessed that it is an excellent way to create educated workforce that will be able to respond to the needs of companies with the most advanced technologies.
