Drivers in the Balkans are facing a varied landscape when it comes to fuel costs, with Bosnia and Herzegovina offering the cheapest prices, while Serbia and Austria top the charts for the most expensive.
A recent study by the fuel price portal Nafta.hr revealed that June saw significant disparities in fuel costs across the region, with differences sometimes exceeding €0.40 per litre.
The portal’s findings indicated that Bosnia and Herzegovina consistently offered the lowest prices for both petrol and diesel, while Montenegro was highlighted as the most affordable for LPG.
In stark contrast, Austria and Serbia were identified as the priciest nations for both diesel and petrol.
The report also pointed out that drivers from Croatia could save approximately €7.50 on a 50-litre tank of diesel simply by refuelling in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
