Serbian students took two silver and three bronze medals at the 50th International Physical Competition in Tel Aviv.

The 50th International Physics Olympiad for secondary school students was held from 7 to 15 July 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Students from Serbia achieved great success by winning two silver and three bronze medals.

Aleksa Milojević, Mathematical Gymnasium – silver medal
Dobrica Jovanović, Mathematical Gymnasium – class of bronze medals
Bogdan Rajkov, Mathematical Gymnasium, Belgrade – bronze medal
Aleksandar Stanojčić, Mathematical Gymnasium – bronze medal

The team was led by prof. Dr. Božidar Nikolić from the Faculty of Physics in Belgrade and Assistant Professor Vladan Pavlović from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Niš.

With this year’s success, the total of students’ prizes from Serbia at the International Olympic Games in Physics has increased to 6 gold, 34 silver and 58 bronze medals.

We congratulate all our students who won the medals, their teachers and colleagues who have performed competitions in physics in Serbia!
