Eurovision 2025 has officially begun with the first batch of finalists revealed in an electric opening night in Basel.

After an unforgettable evening filled with dazzling performances, raw emotions, and the electric hum of European unity, we now know the first ten acts that will compete for the prestigious title of Europe’s best song.

The spotlight shone brightly on the “Big Five” nations—Italy, Spain, and host Switzerland—who, as expected, secured direct spots in the grand final, scheduled for Saturday, May 17. But it wasn’t just the powerhouses that made their mark. Thanks to public votes, the final lineup also includes bold contenders such as:

  • Iceland’s Væb with “Róa”
  • Poland’s Justyna Steczkowska delivering “Gaja”
  • Estonia’s Tommy Cash and “Espresso Macchiato”
  • Ukraine’s Ziferblat with “Bird of Pray”
  • Sweden’s KAJ offering “Bara bada bastu”
  • Portugal’s Napa and “Deslocado”
  • Norway’s Kyle Alessandro with “Lighter”
  • San Marino’s Gabry Ponte representing “Tutta l’Italia”
  • Albania’s Shkodra Elektronike with “Zjerm”
  • The Netherlands’ Klod with “C’est la vie”

As the countdown to the final intensifies, the race for the coveted glass microphone is officially on.
