Head of the European Union delegation in Serbia Emanuel Giaufret said that it was wonderful to see prominent buildings in Belgrade, squares and bridges, illuminated in the colours of the European Union on the occasion of Europe Day.
“It is wonderful to see prominent buildings, squares and bridges in Belgrade illuminated in European colours. Many thanks to the city authorities”, wrote Giaufret on Twitter with a picture of the illuminated symbols of the city.

Europe Day was established on May 9 to celebrate the creation of the European Union, and will be marked this year by a number of events in Europe and Serbia.
