Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic signed a commercial agreement with the Chinese company CCCC (China Communications Construction Company Ltd) on the design and execution of works on the construction of the New Belgrade-Surcin section as part of the E-763.
The contract was signed in the presence of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Ambassador of China to Serbia H.E. Bo Chen.
In addition to Mihajlovic, it was also signed by Acting Acting Director of Roads of Serbia Zoran Drobnjak, and Zhang Xiaoyuan, Director of CCCC ltd, branch for Serbia.
The 7.9 km section is part of the Milos the Great highway on Corridor 11 and has a functional connection to the City of Belgrade.
The contracted value of the project is $70.5 million and completion is planned by the end of 2021.
