The German Ambassador to Serbia, Anke Konrad, alongside Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and PWO Group Serbia Director Carlo Lazzarini, laid the foundation stone for the new PWO Group factory in Čačak.
The new factory, set to employ over 500 workers, will cover an area of 100,000 square meters, with the first series production slated to begin by the end of 2025.

“This company brings 105 years of experience. We are excited about the opportunities this will create for young people. Germany and Serbia share a history of many changes, a present, and a future goal of Serbia becoming an EU member. I look forward to strengthening our cooperation together. You can count on us. I look forward to meeting again at the opening of the plant,” stated Anke Konrad.
During the ceremony, President Vučić announced that Serbia has subsidised this €89 million investment with nearly €17 million. He invited PWO to build another major facility by 2027 to take advantage of further subsidies, as Serbia will have to cease state aid due to EU agreements.
