The Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Jelena Begović, announced in Paris, where Belgrade and Serbia presented their candidacy to host the International Specialized Exhibition Expo 2027, the readiness and determination of our country to host that event.

At the symposium, where the proposed theme of Serbia “Game(s) for humanity: sport and music for all” was presented, Begović presented to the delegates of the International Bureau of Exhibitions the importance of Serbian innovation and creativity in the field of technological development, such as BIO4, sustainable agriculture, artificial  intelligence and high technology, in the development of which the Government of Serbia invests.

The goal of the Serbian delegation was to present the topic “How a game can prepare humanity for work in the future, in the digitized time in which we find ourselves” in as much detail as possible.

Begović emphasized the value of the game for the continuous progress of science and technology, which are key determinants in dynamic times.

“For the people of Serbia, everyone is welcome, so we open up and connect all four corners of the world, and Serbia offers a unique offer to exhibitors,” said the minister, adding that the game is a voluntary, spontaneous and pleasant activity that we engage in for our own good, and  not for some reward.

The musicians Teofilović brothers also contributed to the presentation of Serbia by performing numbers of traditional Serbian music.
