Automatic authentication of health insurance cards (KZO) is available as of today to independent insured persons (entrepreneurs), farmers, priests, religious officials, foreign pensioners, or those who receive a pension or disability allowance from a state with which there is no bilateral social insurance agreement, independent artists, employees of physical persons (who do not have a tax ID number) and those who perform work under an agreement on exchange of experts or an agreement on international technical cooperation.

The automatic authentication also includes members of their families who are insured through them.

With this, the state has fulfilled its promise and relieved all insured persons of a trip to a counter at a branch of the Republic Health Insurance Fund.

RFZO had already provided automatic authentication of health insurance cards for the majority of insured persons in October 2017.
