The annual survey by Advantage Austria on the business climate in Serbia for 2024 confirms the stability and growth of Austrian-Serbian economic cooperation, with over 800 Austrian companies present in Serbia.

Although global economic uncertainties impact business operations, Austrian companies have reported an increase in turnover, employment, and investments.

Austria remains the third-largest foreign investor in Serbia, and the business outlook for 2024 has exceeded expectations, with positive forecasts for future development.

Digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals are becoming key factors shaping business strategies.

This volunteer project, which focuses on cleaning caves and karst waters, has improved the quality of drinking water for 260,000 people.

The initiative also includes education and raising awareness about the protection of karst resources, aiming for the long-term preservation of natural ecosystems and reduction of pollution.
