Hungary sees Serbia as the most important economic partner in the Western Balkans. The Hungarian government strives to support investments in the Serbian market, said the Hungarian Ambassador to Belgrade Attila Pinter who is ending his mandate in Serbia.
During a conversation between Ambassador of Hungary H.E. Attila Pinter and Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, joint projects were also discussed, such as the cooperation of governments in the cleaning of Lake Medjuvršje.
The importance of continuous holding of joint sessions of the two governments was highlighted, which have already resulted in significant improvement of economic cooperation, signing of agreements and memoranda, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
In her conversation with Ambassador Pinter, PM Brnabić emphasized that the relations between the two countries have reached the highest point of development in recent history thanks, first of all, to mutual understanding, trust and commitment to strengthening the partnership.
As stated in the announcement, the Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Pinter for his personal efforts in the development of bilateral relations, recalling that the two countries established a strategic partnership last year, and that in 2021, record values of bilateral trade cooperation were recorded.
