Banca Intesa has presented its 2015 Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the international methodology of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

The fourth GRI Report follows the redefined GRI G4 version of the Guidelines for Sustainability Reporting and the appendix for the financial sector, providing a comprehensive view of the economic, social and environmental performance of the bank through responses to 32 indicators, compared with 28 covered in the previous report.

“As a leading bank on the domestic market, Banca Intesa fully recognises its responsibility to operate in a manner that pays attention not only to the economic impacts but also to the social and environmental impacts arising from such a position.

This primarily means that we integrate our business processes, strategies and decisions through the principle of sustainability,” says Rajka Šinik Vulić, Acting Director of PR and Marketing Communications and Director of the PR and Social Responsibility Department at Banca Intesa.
