Bela CrkvaThe Municipality of Bela Crkva lies along the border with Romania in the fertile area of the Banat District. It is surrounded by rivers, canals, lakes and the Deliblato Sands – a one-of-a-kind nature reserve and a genuine green oasis. This municipality has for decades been viewed as a prime example of multicultural and multinational harmony between 20 different nationalities.

The people here are diligent and welcoming, which provides excellent incentive for potential investors to pick this location for their projects.

What are the most important reasons to invest in Bela Crkva?

– Bela Crkva municipality is situated to the northeast of Central Serbia and in the far southeast of Vojvodina and Banat. It is 106km east of Belgrade and spans an area of 353 square kilometres. Bela Crkva town is tranquil and has wonderful Baroque buildings. Life is leisurely and calm, while our rivers – Karaš and Nera – are a wonderful natural resource. The western part of the town has a complex of seven manmade lakes, the Danube-Tisza- Danube Canal and the River Danube itself. The Deliblato Sands (also known as the European desert) is a unique nature reserve located only 15km from Bela Crkva. Hunting and breeding grounds, with all sorts of game, span an area of 1,500 hectares and this area is also known for its diverse bird population. All of the aforementioned ensure that our municipality is a wonderful place to live and work.

What options do you offer potential investors?

– The municipality offers many investment opportunities and locations. Potential investors can lease land near Bela Crkva’s lakes, where they can build tourist facilities and hotels. They can also lease land in our industrial park.

What advantages does Bela Crkva’s Nera Industrial Park offer?

The industrial park spans a total of 14.26 hectares and is located in the existing work zone. The park has good links to B category state road 18, which starts in Zrenjanin and passes through the municipalities of Sečanj, Plandište, Vršac, Uljma and Bela Crkva before ending not far from the Kaluđerovo border crossing. The state border with Romania is only two kilometres from this road, while Kaluđerovo is some 11km away. The lease fee is 0.10RSD per square metre per month. Available land plots come in different sizes and range from four hectares and 68 square metres to 56 hectares and 16 square metres, with several plots joined together. Up to 12 land modules can be joined together.

The land is leased for a 99-year period, in accordance with a special planning project. Investors can build commercial, production and storage facilities in the industrial park, as well as multi-purpose facilities. The land plots can be connected to water, power and transport grids. Until the construction of sewer links is completed, waste water can be collected in impermeable septic tanks.

Joint Serbian–German company Flammat d.o.o. has been operating successfully in the industrial zone since 2012 and this company also plans to open a production and distribution facility for kerosene ignitors soon.
