The world’s most expensive chocolate became on display at a chocolate fair in Obidos in Portugal.
The diamond-shaped chocolate covered with edible gold is priced €7,728 It has a filling of saffron threads, white truffle, vanilla from Madagascar and gold flakes.
It is also covered with a crown-shaped box decorated with 5,500 Swarovksi crystals and also carries personalized pincers. Guarded by two uniformed men, the declared world’s priciest chocolate is a part of a limited edition of 1,000 bonbons.
Portuguese chocolatier Daniel Gomes is the creator of the Guinness Book of Records certified world’s most expensive chocolate.
