Participants in this year’s charity race of the CorD Magazine – CorD Charity Masters collected a total of 836,200 dinars. The main donors were the embassies of Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Canada and Malaysia, companies Piraeus Bank, Mitecco, Schneider Electric, Novo Nordisk Pharma, as well as our readers, Đorđe Samardžija and Nikola Đurić, and CorD’s staff.
Among several thousand professional competitors and recreational runners this year, there were over 400 runners, walkers, parents and children – participants of the CorD Charity Masters – the only race where humanity comes before competition.
The 11th CorD Charity Masters race attracted employees from 10 companies and many individuals, traditionally led by the staff of Piraeus Bank. All participants decided for themselves who would receive their charitable contributions, which depended on the number of kilometres covered multiplied by a sum provided by sponsors they secured themselves.
In the previous 10 races, the participants of the CorD Charity Masters have collected about €140,000 and donated it all to those who needed it most.
