“As we are collecting plastic bottles here today, I ask all citizens to do the same. How our country will look like depends on all of us”

On the occasion of marking the World Environment Day, Prime Minister Ana Brnabić together with the Serbian Government ministers and representatives of the City of Belgrade took part in the programme dedicated to cleaning the coast of Sava Lake, near the mouth of the Topčider River.

Brnabić emphasised that the Serbian government in this way wants to give citizens the example to engage in cleaning our country, adding that it represents a kind of patriotism and it is important to preserve a clean Serbia for future generations.

She pointed out that Chapter 27 deals with ecology and will be one of the most difficult and the most expensive chapters in the process of European integration.

“As we are collecting plastic bottles here today, I ask all citizens to do the same.  How our country will look like depends on all of us”, Prime Minister Brnabić pointed out.
