The Embassy of Sweden in Serbia celebrated the nation’s 501st National Day in a lively reception hosted by Ambassador Annika Ben David at the Swedish Residence.

The event was attended by a distinguished gathering that included Serbian officials, diplomats, members of the Swedish business community, media representatives, and NGOs.

This celebration not only marked Sweden’s long history but also spotlighted its enduring commitment to democracy, the rule of law, media freedom, and human rights—values shared with their European partners.

The evening was further enlivened with the timeless music of ABBA, adding a sense of fun and nostalgia to the festivities.
