The local economic elite gathered at the traditional summer reception held in the garden of the Serbian business club “Privrednik” (Businessman).
A large number of guests from the worlds of politics, economics, banking, the diplomatic corps, as well as education and science, were welcomed by the club’s president, businessman Miodrag Kostić.
“Serbian Business Club Privrednik has focused attention on cooperation between business and science. Institutionally, we have supported SANU in order to send a clear message that the economy and science must work together, not only to align supply and demand on the labour market but also to support innovations that can have a production and export character. We wish to use our contribution to bring together the best students, academics and professors with the economy and the real sector, as well as to enable the application of their knowledge in practice,” said Kostić.
