The Slovenian Business Club (SPK) hosted a working meeting hosting the Minister of Labor of the Republic of Slovenia Ksenija Klampfer and representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs from the Republic of Slovenia and Serbia.
Minister Klampfer greeted participants and expressed her satisfaction that she could attend the meeting of the Slovenian Business Club. In addition to the Minister, State Secretary Svetozar Aleksov addressed the participants in front of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Serbia, who explained more closely the work and area of the Ministry in Serbia.
The members of the Slovenian Business Club had numerous questions, including what are the key information regarding the employment agreement between Slovenia and Serbia, which was explained in more detail by Grega Malec, that as a condition for obtaining a work permit in Slovenia it is necessary that the Serbian worker be previously registered in the records of the National Employment Service in Serbia with the aim of keeping the state of Serbia maintaining records of the employment of its workers abroad. Another important factor is that a person must not be employed in Serbia and must be registered at the employment office at least for one day, as Mr Malec emphasised.
Snežana Bogdanović, Senior Adviser and Head of the Normative Affairs Department at the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Serbia also replied to numerous questions.
After the Q/A session, the representatives of the Ministries, the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Serbia, members of the Slovenian Business Club continued their discussion in the pleasant atmosphere of the IN hotel, which is also a member of the Slovenian Business Club.
