HRH Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine officially opened this year’s Easter Bazaar of handicraft items made by female refugees and children with special needs.

The official opening of the bazaar at the Stadion Shopping Centre was attended by senior state officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps and numerous guests from the cultural and public life of Serbia.

“It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the traditional festive Easter Bazaar. You have the opportunity to see beautiful handicrafts made by creative women and their associations. These ladies were forced to leave the safety of their homes and create an alternative life far from their homes. All proceeds from the bazaar are intended to support these women and their associations. I wish everyone much success and thank you for your great support. Christ is risen! Happy upcoming Easter,” said HRH Princess Katherine.
