The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) and the Ministry of Economy held a presentation of EU Accession Negotiation Chapter 6 – Company Law at the Palace of Serbia.
Apart from members of the Foreign Investors Council, representatives of the Ministry of the Economy, heads and members of negotiating teams for Serbia’s accession to the EU, the event was also attended by representatives of several business associations – AmCham, NALED, SAM, CCIS and Privrednik – as well as representatives of other economic institutions.
The presentation format saw the presenting of more information on the EU accession process and the basis of the negotiating positions of the Republic of Serbia for Chapter 6, as well as the kind of impact this chapter will have on the environment in which companies operate.
The meeting also included the presenting of forthcoming amendments to the Law on Companies.
