The 8th annual Our Belgrade volunteer event was held on 14th May, with U.S. Ambassador H.E. Kyle Scott and the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, H.E. Michael Davenport, among the many volunteers fixing up schoolyards and participating in inclusive workshops with children living with disabilities and the elderly at more than ten locations throughout the city.

This year’s “Our Belgrade” event brought together more than 200 volunteers from companies including Banca Intesa, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Delta Holding, Erste Bank, Eurobank, Mercator-S, Meris, Societe Generale Serbia, UniCredit Bank, Vojvođanska Banka and Vip mobile, as well as representatives of the international community, to promote community engagements, donating and corporate volunteerism.

Over the past eight years, more than 30 companies have participated in the “Our Belgrade” event and more than 2,700 employees have engaged in giving back and contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of more than 9,000 adults and children. “Our Belgrade” is organised by Smart Kolektiv and the Responsible Business Forum, with the support of USAID.
