Not even a heavy shower could ruin the atmosphere at the Kalemegdan park where a couple of hundred people gathered to celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day.
The celebration started with sounds of Serbian and Norwegian national anthems — “Boze pravde” (Lord, give us justice) and ”Ja, vi elsker dette landet” (Yes, we love this country).
As the anthems were echoing and despite the rain, people were standing still in their nice clothes, some few even wearing bunad (Norwegian national costumes), for this special occasion.
Children were waving Norwegian flags, contributing thus to the solemnity of the event.
