“In that sense, this year is a very special and meaningful one for both Serbia and Korea. We have seen our two government’s great efforts to deepen and widen our cooperation in various fields such as political, economic and cultural areas.”

“Around a month ago, Korean Foreign Minister Kang visited Serbia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary. Over the consultations with PM Brnabić, FM Dačić, and IM Stefanović, they appreciated the ever-increasing favourable relationship between our two great countries and agreed to redouble our efforts to further develop our ties.”

“Our active cooperation in the field of e-government is also being continued. We are in close collaboration and cooperation with IT and E-government Office regarding data centre and other e-government related projects which we hope will enhance the efficiency of the administration of the Serbian government and the quality of life of the Serbian people. Just yesterday, I was invited to the groundbreaking ceremony of the data centre in Kragujevac,” said Ambassador of Korea H.E. Choe Hyoung-chan.

Ambassador informed guests about the ongoing negotiations between governments of two countries in regards to the Bilateral Agreement on Promotion and Protection of Investment. The aim is to improve the protection for the companies from both countries under the appropriate legal framework.
