Representatives of the Serbian Development Agency (RAS) and the Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia (JBAS) have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at more effective coordination in improving business cooperation between Serbia and Japan.

The memorandum was signed by the acting director of RAS Radoš Gazdić and executive director of JBAS Danijela Čabarkapa.

RAS and JBAS will in future carry out common actions in connecting business people in the two countries.

The aim is to strengthen business connections and collaboration, to organise education and common events for exchanging experience, to provide information about opportunities for work and to exchange information on basic economic indicators and trends.

Serbia will also be promoted as a potential investment destination for Japanese companies and support offered to entrepreneurs of both countries on the Serbian and Japanese markets.
