Germany has officially joined the ranks of nations participating in EXPO 2027, set to take place in Belgrade under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”
This marks a milestone for Serbia, with the third-largest global economy and one of its key trade partners stepping onto the world stage for the first-ever specialized exhibition in the Western Balkans.
Dušan Borovčanin, director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, expressed his pride, highlighting that Germany’s involvement underscores the exhibition’s prominence as a major global event of 2027.
Germany’s rich history with international exhibitions dates back to the first World Expo in 1851, and its commitment to the global dialogue is clear.
The nation has hosted EXPO 2000 in Hanover and participated in several other significant events, including specialized exhibitions in Berlin and Munich.
As preparations begin, EXPO 2027 promises to be a platform for collaboration, celebrating the unifying power of sport and music while further strengthening ties between Germany and Serbia.
