“This is the first chamber to have been established with the agreement of the German and Serbian governments and, alongside political will, it formalises economic and business relations between the two countries,” said Roland Seelinger, President of the German-Serbian Chamber.
“German companies have invested more than 1.8 billion euros and created 30,000 new jobs in Serbia. In the past 15 years, Germany has provided Serbia with more than 1.7 billion euros in development aid. The Chamber will contribute to the development of new ideas for improving bilateral relations between the two countries, with a focus on improving the climate for doing business, investment and trade in both countries,” said H.E. Axel Dittmann, German Ambassador to Serbia.
