Belgrade welcomed the 12th annual French Week with a glittering soirée marking the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau, a quintessential French tradition embraced worldwide.
Organised by the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the week-long series of events, running from 20 to 27 November, celebrates the cultural, historical, and economic ties between France and Serbia. At its heart lies the introduction of the young French wine, Beaujolais Nouveau, an occasion eagerly anticipated by connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike.
This year’s opening gala, powered by Belgrade Airport, drew over 350 distinguished guests, including diplomats, business leaders, and notable public figures from both nations. Against the elegant backdrop, the President of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Dragan Stokić, officially launched the festivities, expressing gratitude to partners and inviting attendees to enjoy the curated programme. “This week is a testament to the growing bond between France and Serbia,” Stokić remarked, encouraging guests to explore the events outlined on francuskanedelja.rs.
