FIC members welcomed the opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere on a cocktail sponsored by Konstruktor Konsalting on 25 September.

Around 60 members attended the first event held at the newly built Konstruktor logistical centre, especially prepared to provide good atmosphere for presentations and networking.

Guests were greeted by the FIC President Yana Mikhailova, who outlined the importance of cocktails as events dedicated to knowing each other better and building trust.

This is the 3rd cocktail in 2019, and another one is planned until the end of the year. FIC President said this is a very active year for FIC.

“We have much more meetings, 11 committees, we have very strong interaction with our counterparts, and we are very satisfied with the activities we are running in the framework of the WB Task Force”, she said.

FIC President, in particular, reminded of the successful Reality Check Conference on Data Protection in July and announced main plans for the rest of this year: visit Brussels in October, White Book Launch in November and Electoral Assembly in December.

Yana Mikhailova introduced new Executive Director Aleksandar Ljubic to those who hadn’t met him yet. She praised the efficiency of the Executive Office, and also thanked companies that contributed to the FIC committees.



Konstruktor CEO Ognjen Kisin thanked guests for attending the cocktail, outlining that they are the first guests at the premises in which the company would soon move in. He introduced the company Konstruktor saying it is oriented to deliver complete solutions in the construction of commercial facilities, design, permitting and construction itself.

This was followed by a video clip featuring main data on the company. Established in 2004, the company has now several members of the group, more than 150 employees and 500 workers engaged on sites.

After this, Konstruktor CCO Nemanja Uzelac held presentation “We construct your vision”, dedicated to the situation on the construction market in Serbia and main challenges for companies in the sector.

Projects are getting bigger, and deadlines shorter, he said, giving examples of the projects demonstrating this challenge. Konstruktor is also dedicated to green construction, he said, outlining that one of the Konstruktor projects was the first in Serbia to be awarded the LEED Platinum certificate for energy efficiency and eco-friendly facilities.

Nemanja Uzelac also presented innovation achievements, permitting procedure in Serbia and stages of projects. Guests were then invited to network and enjoy the evening in a pleasant atmosphere with nice music background.
