Belgrade’s Institut Servantes (Cervantes Institute) and the Belgrade Culture Centre, in cooperation with the Yugoslav Cinematheque Film Archives, organised the 9th consecutive annual “Spanish meter” festival of contemporary Spanish film from 19th to 30th May.
For the first time since its inception, the festival had an accompanying ancillary programme: the cycle “Music Goya Award”, which included six films awarded with the most prestigious awards in Spanish cinematography, the Goya Awards. They included Palm Trees in the Snow, Even the Rain, 13 Roses, I Know Who You Are, Lucky Star and Snow White.
The special guest of the festival was Alfonso de Vilallonga, winner of the Goya Award for Best Original Score.
