H.E. Syed Adil Gilani, Ambassador of Pakistan to Serbia, and Madame Naseem Gilani hosted a reception and fashion show on the evening of Pakistani Independence Day, 14th August, at Belgrade’s Hotel Metropol.
The event’s fashion show showcased the history of Pakistan through music, dresses and their motifs, designed by famous Pakistani designer Shaiyanne Malik. Guests were able to familiarise themselves with Pakistani costumes, cultural dances, the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation, mangoes and other Pakistani delicacies.
The reception was attended by over 250 guests, including government ministers, ambassadors, diplomats, members of parliament, business leaders and members of the Pakistani community.
